Maersk Logistics attend environmental conference in Zurich

Maersk Logistics is committed to the protection and conservation of the environment and places high priority on environmental considerations in managing its business. Maersk Logistics demonstrates some of the environmental services at the “Green Transportation and Logistics World Summit” in Zurich 20-21 February 2008.

Since the launch in October last year, The SupplyChain CarbonCheck™ has made a significant impact in the market. Maersk Logistics´ innovative approach to the environmental challenges has now reached a new phase.

Maersk Logistics has an array of tools and methods offered through the SupplyChain CarbonCheck™ and offer the conference delegates in Zurich an insight into how we approach environmental supply chain challenges.
 
The findings of the recently conducted SupplyChain CarbonCheck™ for Alliance Boots, Europe’s leading retail pharmacy business, will also be presented by representatives from both Maersk Logistics and Boots during one of the sessions in the summit.

In addition to attending an expert panel discussion on “Return on Green Investment”, Maersk Logistics’ supply chain experts would like to welcome conference delegates at the expo booth throughout the event.
