Maersk Logistics opens Global Chemicals Competency Centre function in Dubai
Maersk Logistics has taken an important and progressive step and opened a global supply chain competency centre for chemicals in Dubai.
Opening a competency centre for Chemical Supply Chain Management in Dubai is a valuable step in the right direction as it positions Maersk Logistics as a chemicals supply chain industry leader within maritime intensive logistics.
General Manager Anthony Elwine, who will head up this effort, says "By placing our chemical headquarters in Dubai we will have a significant part of the future global polymer production as neighbours. We want to be viewed as thought leaders to the chemical industry and work with progressive organisations in adapting their supply chains, allowing them to differentiate and improve performance."
