In this instance it was for Maersk Logistics’ improvement initiatives with Unilever, Australia. Unilever is a leading global company in foodstuffs, home and personal care.
Mr. Peter Smidt-Nielsen, Head of Supply Chain Management at Maersk Logistics, said:

The award-winning supply chain initiatives were developed by a dedicated Maersk Logistics team of experts using the innovative information management tool Spective™, which provides visibility all the way down to the single shipment product line level. Using Spective™, Unilever has gained the necessary insights into their daily processes and enabled them to make proactive decisions about supply chain events.
In addition, the reporting functionality of Spective™ has enabled Maersk Logistics to compile statistical overviews of Unilever’s overall supply chain health.
